Job Summary

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for protecting the company's revenues and profits to achieve full financial control and sustainable growth. This role oversees the daily operations of the Accounting Department, prepares management reports, and directs projects as requested. The CFO provides vision for the long-term growth of the organization and the finance functions, with expertise in Board reporting, Financial modeling, and a commitment to building and leading a successful team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement financial planning strategies to drive business growth
  • Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data
  • Participate in the company's future direction, from formulating strategic plans to monitoring their implementation, and contribute to board-level decision-making
  • Manage risk by analyzing the company's liabilities and investments
  • Oversee fundraising plans and capital structure to ensure optimal financial performance
  • Ensure cash flow is aligned with company operations
  • Establish and maintain relationships with banking and investment institutions
  • Manage and oversee all financial aspects, including treasury management, budgeting, accounting, and forecasting
  • Analyze financial data to identify opportunities for improvement and development
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of accounting and financial staff, recommending personnel actions as needed
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory financial reporting and company policies
  • Prepare reliable current and forecasting reports to inform business decisions
  • Protect company operations by maintaining confidentiality of financial information

Qualifications

  • Proven track record in leading and executing successful business strategies
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Strong knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
  • Ability to strategize and solve complex problems
  • Strong leadership, professionalism, and organizational skills
  • 5-10 years of experience as a CFO, financial officer, or relevant role
  • Business savvy leader with expertise in navigating changing priorities and regulations
  • BA (Business, Finance, or Accounting) and Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation
