Wagering Operations Writer

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Uphold and promote the Service Standards of Magnolia Bluffs Casino consistently.

· Precisely document and process valid sportsbook tickets.

· Manage wagering terminals and conduct machine upkeep, including loading new tickets and maintaining a clean environment.

· Provide clear and informative responses to guests regarding wagering details and inquiries, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of the department and overall property.

· Possess a thorough knowledge of all betting options available on the board, with the capability to explain these to customers as required.

· Support supervisors in recognizing guests with unique needs to safeguard company assets and deliver optimal guest service.

· Monitor and report any unusual or suspicious wagering behaviors or transactions.

REQUIREMENTS:

· Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests, team members, and management in both written and verbal formats.

· Basic mathematical proficiency.

· Adhere to all company, departmental, and regulatory guidelines, policies, and procedures.

· Ability to foster and maintain positive working relationships with team members and guests.

· Must obtain and maintain a CODOG Gaming Support License.

· Minimum age requirement of 21 years.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

· High School diploma or equivalent.

· Previous experience in a sportsbook environment is preferred.

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

· Requires normal vision capabilities, including the ability to see colors and distinguish letters, numbers, and symbols.

· Physical ability to climb, bend, reach, and lift up to 35 pounds, as well as walk and stand for the duration of the shift.

· Manual dexterity necessary for operating job-related equipment.

· Work may occur in environments that are unusually hot, cold, or noisy.

· Job duties may require standing, walking, lifting, reaching, pushing, pulling, and grasping, including the maintenance and care of the assigned area. Frequent interaction with fellow team members and guests is expected.
