LJA Engineering is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead our survey operations team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating survey projects from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with team members to develop and implement survey project plans, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget and quality standards.
- Review and analyze survey data, utilizing industry-leading software and technology to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Supervise and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional development and growth.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve survey operations and services.
- Participate in business development activities, including proposal preparation, client presentations, and marketing initiatives.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of company policies, procedures, and standards related to survey operations.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in survey operations, project management, or a related field.
- Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) certification.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide team members.
- Proficiency in CAD, Least Squares Reduction, and other survey software.
- Experience with robotic total stations, GPS, and other emerging technologies.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
