At Guinness, we are seeking a skilled Electrical Automation Specialist to join our Packaging Maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering plant availability and machine efficiency, working closely with our team of technicians.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve conformance to Safety, Statutory and Engineering and Risk Management Standards.
  • Provide feedback into packaging maintenance plans.
  • Improve asset performance versus targets through the execution of effective planned maintenance activities, shutdowns, and overhauls.
  • Implement best engineering practices and provide feedback into packaging asset care management.
  • Manage materials, components, and spares required by their plant and equipment.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering or HND Engineering.
  • Demonstrated ability in maintenance engineering in food or drink manufacturing environment.
  • Proven first-line leadership skills.
  • Computer literate.

Barriers to Success:

  • Inability to connect and build positive relationships.
  • Lack of understanding of the commercial and demand agenda within the Guinness Ghana Breweries PLC business.
  • Lack of key leadership skills.
