Our Control System Integration Practice is a hub for innovation, where you will partner with seasoned leaders, technical specialists, and subject matter experts to deliver exceptional results.

Responsibilities
  1. Work individually and in teams to support capital projects and implement solutions for our clients.
  2. Develop automation solutions and participate in various phases of automation projects, including creating design specifications, software configuration and testing, and the commissioning and start-up of high-speed and other automated manufacturing processes.
  3. Design automation control systems and create project documentation and drawings to meet client requirements.
  4. Create detailed work plans to execute assigned projects.
  5. Mentor less experienced professionals to help grow the team.
  6. Collaborate with our Client's Technical Experts and articulate the state of the project.
  7. Diagnose automation problems.
  8. Interface with teams, clients, and vendors.
  9. Configure software and hardware packages according to client design specifications.
  10. Program PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Rockwell, GE, Siemens) and HMI/SCADAs (FactoryTalk, Cimplicity, Wonderware, Ignition).
  11. Communicate plan progress to project stakeholders.
  12. Manage the execution of project deliverables to agreed schedule and scope.
  13. Supervise site construction and installation.
  14. Supervise and participate in site start-up support of integrated control systems.
Requirements
  1. A track record of proficiency in control systems, troubleshooting, and high-intensity environments.
  2. A minimum of six years of direct experience as a controls engineer working on automated processes/system integration in a process controls for the Oil & Gas industry, Energy sector, Advanced Technology, or other industrial manufacturing environment.
  3. Experience in creating and designing automation controls systems (PLC, SCADA).
  4. Experience in developing and coding programs for PLCs and DCS platforms (GE, Rockwell, Honeywell, Siemens, Delta V, etc.).
  5. Experience with collaborating with less experienced engineers and mentoring them.
  6. A solid understanding of industrial control panel design and fabrication (UL508A).
  7. A solid understanding of instrumentation and controls (I&C).
  8. A solid understanding of engineering documentation (P&IDs, process flow diagram, standard operating procedures, Control Narratives, Sequence Of Operation).
  9. Experience with field instrumentation, control system installation, and configuration.
  10. Familiarity with machine safety applications, electrical power distribution, and control panel design.
  11. Proficiency in written and verbal technical communication, including generating reports and conducting group presentations.
  12. A willingness to travel for project requirements, including installation and start-up activities, client and company-sponsored meetings, trainings, industry-related seminars, forums, and conventions.
