Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Prep Cook to join our team at Kickapoo Lucky Eagle Casino. As a Prep Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food to the highest standards, ensuring that every dish that goes out is of the highest quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook food to the highest standards, following established recipes and methods.
  • Ensure that all food is stored and handled safely and hygienically.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to ensure that all kitchen tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure that all kitchen tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
Requirements
  • Minimum six (6) months experience as a cook or prep cook.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to maintain effective relationships with colleagues and management.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to meet multiple deadlines and multitask.
Working Conditions
  • Work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with frequent exposure to heat, noise, and other hazards.
  • May be required to work irregular shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
