Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager to join our team at the Courtyard Residence Inn Yonkers. As a key member of our hotel management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the front desk and guest relations.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a hotel or hospitality setting, with strong communication skills and excellent customer service skills. You will be responsible for handling phone systems, assisting with night audit procedures, and providing exceptional service to guests.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the hotel
  • Oversee the front desk and guest relations
  • Handle phone systems and ensure proper phone etiquette is maintained
  • Assist with night audit procedures, including reviewing and reconciling daily transactions and preparing reports
  • Provide excellent customer service to guests, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality setting
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in using computer systems and hotel management software
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
