Assembly Technician

At Facility Gateway Critical Services, we are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for performing various assembly tasks, including cutting strip tin wires, soldering components, and inspecting finished products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cut strip tin wires and solder to cups
- Perform wiring and ECO's according to blueprints and schematics
- Insert and solder components, resistors, and capacitors to circuit boards
- Perform visual inspections of components, sub-assemblies, and end products to ensure quality
- Use precise measurement tools to make and record measurements
- Monitor the safety of the work area and report any problems to the Cell Leader or Supervisor
- Perform hand assembly operations using mechanical presses, hand tools, and heat guns
- Accurately inspect assemblies at various stages of the assembly process
- Perform rework, repair, and adjustment operations as required
- Retrieve and enter information into spreadsheets and databases
- Record measurements and quality data on work order travelers and forms
Requirements:
- 3 years of assembly experience
- Ability to read and understand written assembly drawings, work instructions, and procedures
