Job Summary:
This Assembly Technician role is an exciting opportunity to join our team at Facility Gateway Critical Services. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for monitoring the functioning of all equipment and reporting any problems or substandard conditions to the supervisor. You will conduct all pre-assembly activities such as cleaning and lubricating as per established procedures. Perform final checks and adjustments for any defects to ensure the highest quality products. Perform installation, repair, inspection, reassembly, replacing, refitting, and adjusting products as required. Receive, unload, unpack and transfer materials to different work stations. Work proactively to prevent breakdowns and failures. Maintain your work area, keeping it clean, safe and orderly. Overtime is rare but required as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor equipment functioning and report any issues
Conduct pre-assembly activities such as cleaning and lubricating
Perform final checks and adjustments for defects
Install, repair, inspect, reassemble, replace, refit, and adjust products as required
Receive, unload, unpack, and transfer materials to different work stations
Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area
Requirements:
3 years of manufacturing experience (preferred)
Ability to read and understand wiring diagrams and blueprints
Strong mechanical skills and attention to detail
Ability to work well in a team environment and independently
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
