About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Child and Family Therapist to join our team at Washburn Center for Children. As a key member of our Day Treatment program, you will work closely with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams to provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions to children and families, utilizing a trauma-informed approach and evidence-based interventions.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, taking into account the unique needs and goals of each child and family.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and other professionals, to ensure comprehensive care and support.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and other relevant information.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices and research in the field of child and family therapy.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Independent licensure as an LICSW, LP, LPCC, or LMFT (or working towards licensure).
  • 1-2 years of experience working with severely emotionally disturbed children and their families, with 3-5 years preferred.
  • DC: 0-5 training desired.
