Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at University Hospitals. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our clinical staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform basic Medical Assistant duties, including patient intake, vital signs, and medical histories.
  • Manage patient flow and facilitate unit operations to ensure efficient and effective care.
  • Assist with front desk duties, including scheduling patients, collecting and verifying patient information, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Comply with all policies and standards related to patient confidentiality and data security.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain current knowledge and skills.
Requirements
  • Completion of a Medical Assistant program.
  • 1+ years of clinical experience as a Medical Assistant (preferred).
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions

This role requires standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds. The ability to work in a dynamic and ever-changing environment is essential.
