Key Responsibilities
  • Execute tasks outlined in repair orders efficiently and in line with dealership standards.
  • Conduct test drives and assess vehicle components and systems using diagnostic tools.
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair various automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
  • Engage directly with the Service Advisor to keep customers informed about additional service needs and provide time estimates for repairs.
  • Perform warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Service Technician is preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; ASE Certification is preferred.
  • Preferred qualifications include "A" level expertise in Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair, though training is available.
  • Strong dexterity and excellent hand-eye coordination.
  • Proficient mechanical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and basic computer knowledge.
  • Positive and friendly demeanor, with a willingness to learn and improve.
  • A collaborative team player who thrives in a dynamic work environment.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies, repair methods, and specifications.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
