Certified Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Johnston-Willis Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the safe and effective administration of respiratory therapy modalities.
Responsibilities- Administer oxygen therapy and other respiratory treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Perform non-invasive SpO2 monitoring and other diagnostic tests to assess patient respiratory status.
- Operate and maintain respiratory equipment, including ventilators and oxygen concentrators.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Provide education and support to patients and families on respiratory health and disease management.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Current certification as a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
- Associate's degree or higher in respiratory therapy or a related field.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
