As an HVAC Design Engineer, you will collaborate closely with a Senior Engineer at our Boston or Burlington locations. Your responsibilities will include developing engineering design concepts for HVAC systems across multiple project categories, including Corporate, Science & Technology, Healthcare, and more.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design mechanical and HVAC systems, including layout of devices
  • Conduct calculations for heating and cooling loads
  • Prepare engineering analyses and evaluate system performance
  • Research equipment options and adhere to building code standards
  • Contribute to team initiatives and suggest enhancements
  • Participate in client meetings and conduct site assessments

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or equivalent technical training
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in HVAC design
  • Proficiency in Revit and knowledge of mechanical system design
  • Familiarity with building codes and mechanical principles
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and engineering schematics
  • Strong analytical capabilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
  • 1-3 years of experience in an engineering setting
  • Engineer-in-training certification
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office Suite
