Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Health Advocates Network - Midwest. This is a travel job opportunity in Richmond, Virginia, with a 13-week contract.

Job Summary:

As a Registered Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a pediatric and neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) setting. You will work closely with our team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide respiratory care to patients in a pediatric and NICU setting
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest respiratory care techniques and technologies
Requirements:
  • Graduate from an AMA-approved Respiratory Care program
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in a hospital setting
  • Peds and NICU experience required
  • Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) licensure in applicable state (VA)
  • American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, PALS for Health Care Providers
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
