Job Title: Travel Respiratory Therapist Position

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cardio is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team for a travel assignment in a reputable healthcare facility.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Respiratory Therapist to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a travel Respiratory Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients, develop your clinical skills, and gain valuable experience in a new setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide respiratory care to patients with a range of conditions, including respiratory failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and pneumonia.
  • Administer medications, perform diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans to improve patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between departments.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to provide excellent patient care and education.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements:
  • Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of employment.
  • At least one year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist in a hospital setting.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull equipment and supplies as needed.
