We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team as a travel therapist in Richmond, Virginia.

Job Summary:

This is a 13-week travel assignment with 36 hours per week, working 12-hour night shifts. As a Registered Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide respiratory care to patients with a variety of conditions, including respiratory failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and pneumonia.
  • Conduct pulmonary function tests, including spirometry and arterial blood gas analysis.
  • Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
  • Current ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
