Job Summary

PrideStaff is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bilingual Operations Manager to lead our Erosion Control team in Charlotte, NC and Charleston, SC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising multiple field crews, ensuring the installation and maintenance of erosion control Best Management Practices, and overseeing quality assurance processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Lead, train, and develop a team of Field Quality Managers and Environmental Field Service Specialists to ensure efficient, safe, and professional operations.
  • Performance Management: Drive performance, accountability, cost control, and vendor relations in your market.
  • Operations Management: Work with Operations' staff to ensure accurate and timely submission of entries, Work Quality Statements, vehicle and equipment inspections, payroll, PO submittals, and cost controls.
  • Cost Management: Manage all costs, including labor, overtime, equipment, tools, fuel, vehicles, and inventory.
  • Facilities and Equipment Management: Maintain facilities and equipment/material storage yards to ensure they are well-organized, clean, and free from debris and hazardous conditions.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Hold regular meetings with the team to discuss expectations, safety, processes, and procedures, and ensure all team members are wearing proper work clothing and PPE at all times.
  • Audit and Quality Control: Periodically audit crews to ensure they are installing/repairing Best Management Practices efficiently and according to standards.
  • Human Resources: Hire, develop, and dismiss team members to ensure a high-performing and high-integrity team.
  • Client and Site Management: Ensure all team members' interactions with clients and sites are professional and adhere to Valor's standards.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: AA/AS degree or equivalent experience, and at least 3 years of work experience in field leadership.
  • Language Skills: Good command of the English and Spanish language (written and spoken).
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50 pounds of weight frequently throughout the assigned workday, and full range of mobility in upper and lower body.
Compensation

The salary for this position is up to $70,000.00, based on experience.
