About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Short Stay Surgical Unit at Providence Portland Medical Center. This is a 0.9 FTE day shift position that offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care to surgical patients, including pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, identify patient needs, and develop effective care strategies.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and other interventions as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patient progress, report changes, and adjust care plans as needed.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • 1 year - Nursing experience.
