Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at WellSpan Health. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Job Summary:

The LPN will work under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician to provide direct patient care, administer medications, and perform various clinical tasks. You will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including vital sign monitoring, wound care, and medication administration.
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician or registered nurse.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective care delivery and patient outcomes.
  • Document patient information and progress in the electronic medical record.
Requirements:
  • Diploma or Associate's degree in nursing from an accredited program.
  • Current LPN licensure in the state of Pennsylvania or multi-state licensure.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
