Job Description

NYC Health + Hospitals is seeking a highly skilled MyChart Support Specialist to join our Ambulatory Care Practice Transformation Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in engaging patients and staff in all matters related to MyChart usage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and staff, explaining the functionality and processes associated with MyChart.
  • Assist in the preparation and distribution of informational materials on MyChart.
  • Identify key performance metrics for MyChart utilization and performance, and implement strategies to improve performance across departments.
  • Collect patient feedback and report concerns on MyChart user experience.
  • Recommend opportunities for MyChart improvement and growth to Central Office leadership.
  • Maintain and distribute reports to keep key stakeholders informed on current status of MyChart utilization and progress of improvement strategies.
  • Provide training to end users on specific MyChart functionalities, in both personalized and group settings.
  • Keep records of technical issues affecting MyChart functionality and work alongside EITS to confirm resolutions.
Requirements:
  • Two years of full-time experience in counseling, community work, or community health activities in a government agency or community organization engaged in providing community services to the public.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all positions/levels of our organization.
  • Must be able to work independently as well as work as part of a fast-moving team.
  • Must have strong social skills dealing with a diverse mixture of personalities.
  • Must have experience utilizing web-based applications in a professional environment.
  • Must project a high level of energy and enthusiasm to patients.
  • Customer service experience preferred.
  • Some healthcare experience working with patients.
  • Keyboard familiarity with the ability to type at a minimum of 100 key strokes (20 words) per minute.
