We are seeking a highly skilled Business Operations Analyst to join our team at the Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS). As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for conducting research, analyzing policies, and developing strategic plans to support the agency's mission to Transform Lives.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct research and analyze policies, laws, and rules to inform strategic planning and decision-making.
- Develop and implement processes for monitoring and measuring outcomes related to service delivery, staff performance, and outreach services.
- Collaborate with management and staff to identify and plan business process changes for short and long-term strategic goals.
- Lead small to medium-sized projects impacting multiple programs and departments, coordinating with other divisions, management, staff, community partners, and stakeholders.
- Develop and provide timely communications to staff, stakeholders, and management regarding project status and outcomes.
- Oversee negotiable inventories, including EBT cards, pre-paid merchant cards, bus tokens, and returned warrants.
- Act as the Random Moment Time Sample, Records Retention, Scan, Ergonomic, and Telecommunications Coordinator for local oversight of various programs.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, public administration, law, public health, health administration, or a related field.
- Three years of experience conducting research and analyzing policies, laws, and rules, with a focus on business operations and strategic planning.
- Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
