We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Specialist to join our team in managing Workers Compensation claims. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for evaluating and managing high exposure claims, including catastrophic losses and complex cases.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and manage high exposure Workers Compensation claims, including catastrophic losses and complex cases.
  • Develop strategies to manage losses involving complex issues of statutory benefit entitlement, medical diagnoses, and injury severity.
  • Collaborate with specialty resources, such as medical and legal experts, to manage medical treatment and lost time benefits.
  • Pursue all offset opportunities, including apportionment, contribution, and subrogation.
  • Engage with injured workers, employers, and other stakeholders to provide timely claim resolution and excellent customer service.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in Workers Compensation claims management.
  • College degree highly preferred.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain productive relationships with stakeholders.
  • Thorough knowledge of Workers Compensation laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
