The Institute for Family Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our technical services department, you will be responsible for providing top-notch support and maintenance of our computing environment, including hardware, software, and network systems.
Key Responsibilities- Provide onsite and remote support for computer hardware, operating systems, networks, and applications at various Institute locations.
- Offer a positive and high-level customer service experience to our business community, responding quickly and completely to user or IT infrastructure issues.
- Install and configure computer desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and applications.
- Develop in-depth technical skills in Microsoft Windows 11 and the Microsoft Office suite.
- Troubleshoot and resolve computer and network issues both remotely and onsite, utilizing extensive experience and technical expertise.
- Participate in the implementation and testing of new hardware and applications.
- Process Incidents and Requests through their lifecycle and according to established service level agreements, utilizing an IT ticketing system.
- Create documentation for publication on the IT Knowledgebase.
- Maintain IT assets as part of an asset management program.
- Exercise excellent problem-solving skills and follow company policies, calling attention to actions that may violate policies and procedures.
- Work collaboratively as a team player, demonstrating self-motivation and a commitment to achieving goals.
- Be available to occasionally work after hours or on weekends in support of company or IT projects.
- Provide exceptional customer service skills with both internal and external customers.
- Assist on the Helpdesk as needed.
- Demonstrate a desire to continually learn new technologies and products.
- Exhibit good attendance and punctuality.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Hold an A.S. or B.S. in a technical field or a relevant combination of education and technical experience.
- Be certified in CompTIA A+ (extensive experience may be considered in lieu of certification).
- Have at least 2 years of experience working in a professional environment.
- Hold a valid driver's license and car.
- Possess CompTIA Network+ certification (preferred).
- Hold certification in related subject matter (preferred).
- Be bi-lingual in Spanish (preferred).
