Nurse (Multi-Correctional Facility) - State of Connecticut

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at the Department of Correction. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to inmates in a correctional setting. Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to inmates, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing interventions.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and coordination of services.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Current licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse in the State of Connecticut.
- Experience working in a correctional setting or with a similar population.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
