Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team at the Department of Correction. The successful candidate will have a doctorate in clinical or counseling psychology and one year of post-doctoral experience as a psychologist working under the supervision of a licensed psychologist.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality clinical services to inmates, including diagnostic testing, behavior modification, and program development and evaluation.
  • Consult with other disciplines and services to coordinate psychological treatment modalities.
  • Develop and implement new service programs and conduct research to improve services.
  • Train interns and staff and participate in training of psychiatric residents.

Requirements

  • Doctorate degree in clinical or counseling psychology.
  • One year of post-doctoral experience as a psychologist working under the supervision of a licensed psychologist.
  • Licensure to practice psychology in Connecticut.
