Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in a multi-correctional facility setting. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to inmates, assessing their health needs, and developing and implementing individualized care plans. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' health needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing health screenings, and providing education and support
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care and coordinate services
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
  • Provide education and training to patients, families, and staff on health-related topics
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Connecticut
  • Experience working in a correctional setting or with a similar population
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
