We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to join our fast-paced manufacturing team at Jobot. As a key player in our supply chain operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of materials necessary for production.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Materials Management Strategies: Create and execute plans to meet company objectives for quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
- Utilize MRP Software: Monitor inventory levels, track material usage, and forecast future demand to optimize production planning.
- Collaborate with Production and Supply Chain Teams: Plan and schedule production activities to ensure seamless execution.
- Identify and Resolve Material Shortages: Proactively address any material shortages, overages, or discrepancies to maintain uninterrupted production.
- Implement Kaizen Principles: Continuously improve materials management processes and procedures to drive efficiency and productivity.
- Coordinate with Suppliers: Ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve any supply issues to maintain a stable supply chain.
- Analyze Demand Trends and Production Capacity: Develop accurate demand forecasts to inform production planning and optimize resource allocation.
- Participate in Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with teams to implement new product introductions or process improvements.
- Maintain Accurate Records: Ensure all materials ordering activities are accurately documented and reported to management.
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or Related Field: A degree in a relevant field is required.
- Minimum 5 Years of Experience in Materials Management: Proven experience in materials management, production planning, or a similar role in the manufacturing industry is essential.
- Proven Expertise in Supply Chain Management: Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles, MRP software, Kaizen, demand planning, and production planning is required.
- Excellent Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex data and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Strong Computer Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite and experience with ERP systems is required.
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to collaborate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.
- Strong Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
