As a key member of the Perioperative Services team, the successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating all activities related to procurement, processing, inventory, storage, and distribution of supplies and equipment. This includes providing Central Processing services for ancillary support areas as needed. The ideal candidate will also assist CSPD leadership with staffing and training initiatives.
Registered Central Service Technician (C.R.C.S.T) or Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (C.S.P.D.T) certification is required. Additional certifications in endoscope reprocessing (C.E.R) and instrument specialist (C.I.S) are also necessary within 18 months of hire.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate procurement, processing, inventory, storage, and distribution of supplies and equipment
- Provide Central Processing services for ancillary support areas
- Assist CSPD leadership with staffing and training initiatives
- Obtain additional certifications in endoscope reprocessing and instrument specialist within 18 months
Requirements:
