Core ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will:
- Assist with the admission and discharge processes of patients.
- Support patients in personal care and daily living activities.
- Communicate any changes in patients' physical, mental, or emotional states to the nursing staff.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient records.
- Ensure patient rooms are kept clean and organized, along with the upkeep of medical equipment.
Required Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire or transfer. Acceptable certifications include those from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Nurse Aide certification from the Maryland Board of Nursing is required prior to hire or transfer.
Educational Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent, or at least one year of relevant job experience is required.
- Note: Professional licensure or certification may substitute for education or experience if applicable.
