  • Transfer and transport residents safely and efficiently.
  • Prepare residents for transport and maintain a safe environment.
  • Act as a Resident Champion to advocate and escalate concerns.
  • Provide personal care services, including oral hygiene, manicures, shaving, and hair care.
  • Communicate effectively with personnel, residents, families, and other departments.
  • Recognize hazards to resident/patient safety and take appropriate action.
  • Assist with patient admission, discharge, or transfers.

Requirements:

  • Entry-level knowledge and basic employment skills.
  • American Heart Association CPR Certification.
  • Must pass the GNA exam within the first 90 days.
  • Must be a graduate of an accredited CNA program.
  • CNA license or 90-day Temporary CNA license must be posted to the Maryland Board of Nursing Site.
