We are seeking a skilled Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team as a Utility Player. As a Utility Player, you will handle both front desk duties, such as insurance verification and patient registration, and clinical tasks, including triage, radiology, curbside labs, and more.

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple responsibilities, and make a difference in the lives of children and their families. You will be responsible for:

  • Triage patients upon arrival and communicate with the provider when the patient is ready, summarizing symptoms and any abnormal vitals.
  • Document visits in the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system and assist the provider with procedures and patient care, including splinting, radiology, vaccines, medication administration, phlebotomy, and more.
  • Prepare, clean, and maintain exam and treatment rooms, obtain lab samples, and follow up with patients once results are available.
Requirements
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) with a Texas license.
  • BLS certification required (online renewal accepted by the American Heart Association).
  • Knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, basic clinical procedures, CLIA-Waived Testing, and EMR software.
Benefits
