Reconnus is seeking a seasoned professional to lead our internal controls function. As Director of Internal Controls, you will be responsible for overseeing the effectiveness of our internal audit function, assessing risk, and reporting to senior management and the audit committee.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and implement a risk management framework to identify, mitigate, and monitor risks across the organization.
  • Develop and maintain process maps, identify gaps, and develop remediation strategies to enhance the control environment.
  • Design and test controls, and develop control frameworks where necessary.
  • Support the development and implementation of risk management functions, as applicable.
  • Build strong partnerships with executive and senior management to drive risk-awareness and control enhancements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification such as CPA or CIA preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in audit, including at least 7+ years in internal audit.
  • Proven track record of managing internal and external teams to effective and timely results.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft suite and experience with analytics tools.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills to communicate with various levels of the organization.
