Key Responsibilities:
As an Intermediate Field Support Engineer, you will be responsible for:
  • Assisting with all onsite IT operations.
  • Collaborating with support teams, help desks, and technical staff to resolve issues.
  • Coordinating and executing maintenance activities for networks and servers.
  • Identifying recurring issues and proposing solutions to mitigate them.
  • Installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining a diverse range of products and equipment.
  • Delivering technical support services, systems refresh, software integration, and operational assistance.
  • Diagnosing and repairing product failures, including ordering and replacing parts as necessary.
  • Providing training to customer support personnel on-site.
  • Offering on-call support by addressing technical problems through the ServiceNow ticketing system.
  • Interacting with network services and software engineering to restore services and resolve core issues.
  • Recommending system modifications to enhance user experience.
  • Conducting routine system maintenance and analysis, including hardware configurations.
  • Installing operating system updates and patches via SCCM Software Center.
  • Providing remote support for telecommuting users.
  • Ensuring user applications function correctly over VPN and Citrix.
  • Managing user relocation requests and ensuring device encryption.
  • Supporting enterprise groups such as network and security operations.
  • Restarting network equipment as directed.
  • Assisting users with mobile devices and providing tier 2 support.
  • Participating in physical inventory and property management.
  • Processing computer equipment for disposal in compliance with policies.
  • Troubleshooting issues related to video conferencing and audio/video operations.
  • Supporting application releases and analyzing end-user support trends.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify for this position, candidates should possess:
  • A high school diploma with 2-5 years of relevant experience.
  • A strong technical proficiency.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:
Ideal candidates will have:
  • At least 6 months of experience troubleshooting Apple Macintosh software and hardware.
  • Certification in Microsoft Operating Systems.
  • Familiarity with SCCM for remote software installation.
  • CompTIA Network+, A+, Server+, and Security+ certifications.

Compensation:
$19.59 per hour
