Delivery Support Specialist

As a Delivery Support Specialist at Norfolk, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth delivery of goods to our customers.
Responsibilities include reviewing routes, completing pre-trip checks, and ensuring all necessary products are on hand. You will also need to be able to lift heavy objects (45-60 lbs) and work in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication and customer service skills are essential for this role, as well as the ability to read and comprehend English. Bi-lingual individuals are an asset.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate equipment safely and ensure each load is complete and properly secured
- Be responsible for electronic communication while driving, including GPS programming and assisting the driver with the best route
- Remain alert for changing road conditions and hazards
- Assist the driver in bringing items into customers' locations and inspect merchandise for damage
- Assist with picking up merchandise from customers or vendors and inspecting it for damage
- Able to sit for long periods of time
- Regularly required to talk and hear
- Noise level is usually moderate to heavy
- Frequently exposed to outside weather conditions
- Frequently required to walk distances over 200 yards
