Job Title: Technical Sales Lead

Job Summary:

The Leidos Digital Modernization Sector is seeking a Technical Sales Lead for our Cloud and Data Center Practice Area at our Leidos Headquarters in Reston, VA. As a key member of our sales team, you will define and execute the technical sales strategy for the Cloud and Data Center Practice Area, collaborating with practice area leadership and Leidos Office of Technology (OOT) leaders. Your primary responsibility will be to drive revenue growth by selling Cloud and Data Center products, services, and solutions to new and existing customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategy by identifying target customers, cultivating relationships, and positioning our solutions to meet government needs.
  • Manage all aspects of the sales cycle, including conducting regular client engagements and holding pipeline reviews with key stakeholders.
  • Stay informed about the practice area's repeatable offerings and continuously update knowledge of emerging technologies and industry trends.
  • Apply technical expertise to identify and recommend applications within cloud and data center solutions that align with customer needs.
  • Communicate with internal and external parties to drive awareness of the most recent technical capabilities and repeatable offerings being developed by the practice area.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and 15+ years' experience in areas of sales or business development, with a demonstrated history of tailoring solutions that meet customer requirements.
  • Extensive experience in managing and leading all phases of the sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation to negotiation and contract closure.
  • Ability to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders, effectively conveying the value propositions and benefits of the practice area's repeatable offerings.
  • Strong dedication to understanding customer needs and preferences, ensuring solutions align closely with their strategic objectives and deliver tangible business outcomes.

Pay Range: $131,300.00 - $237,350.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
