  • Play a crucial role in the SQF (Safe Quality Food) process, ensuring adherence to production and operational protocols.

  • Manage budgeting and labor scheduling for the production unit.
  • Enforce company policies and procedures, holding team members accountable for compliance.

  • Oversee equipment maintenance and all operational aspects.

Job Complexity:

  • Availability for round-the-clock support during peak production times to address any operational challenges.
  • Responsible for daily operational management, strategic planning, budgeting, and implementing company initiatives.
  • Ability to navigate organizational change and encourage team members to embrace new processes.
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently, prioritizing based on business needs.
  • Adaptability to thrive in a highly seasonal work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Management experience in a baking or manufacturing environment is essential.
  • Familiarity with OSHA standards, HACCP guidelines, GMPs, and SQF requirements.
  • Understanding of equipment and machinery is advantageous.
  • A hands-on approach to management is preferred.
  • Cross-functional operations experience with a proven record of achieving business results in scheduling, quality, and cost management.
  • A continuous improvement mindset with a passion for identifying and leading initiatives that enhance bottom-line performance.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in Windows-based applications, particularly Excel.
