Electrical Lineman Supervisor

As a key member of our team at UGI Utilities, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Lineman Supervisor to oversee the management of our Electric Distribution Line Department. This role requires a strong background in electrical distribution, line construction, and maintenance, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise a team of 10-15 Journeyman Linemen, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to perform their duties effectively.
- Coordinate work with other departments and external customers, mobilize and schedule the linemen workforce and equipment, and assess productivity and quality of work.
- Monitor performance to ensure work is performed to specification, including call-outs and storm restoration.
- Approve design changes and extra work, verify invoices for department charges, and review distribution line construction jobs.
- Evaluate, purchase, and maintain vehicles, tools, and equipment required for the company Journeyman Linemen to work safely and efficiently.
- Implement effective work practices, methods, and standards, and provide training programs for company Journeyman Linemen.
- First Class Journeyman Lineman license with experience preferred.
- Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent experience in electric utility distribution design, construction, and maintenance.
- At least 10 years of experience with increasing responsibility and skill level, including experience in overhead and underground utility line construction and maintenance.
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required within the first 6 months of employment.
