In this essential role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and organization in all guest accommodations, public areas, and staff facilities. Your leadership will guide the housekeeping team in maintaining inventory and implementing cost control measures.
Key Responsibilities:- Foster positive relationships with guests and team members at all times.
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of and adhere to all departmental policies and service standards.
- Understand the proper maintenance and use of all housekeeping equipment, ensuring it is utilized correctly.
- Anticipate and promptly respond to guests' needs, acknowledging them regardless of the time of day.
- Resolve guest complaints effectively, ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction.
- Monitor cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in hotel or resort housekeeping management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Publisher, etc.).
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. and remain standing for extended periods.
- Strong communication skills with a positive attitude and a collaborative spirit.
- Exceptional guest service and recovery skills.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- A hands-on approach to management.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Capability to identify areas for improvement and implement effective strategies.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to leading by example.
- Maintain a positive work environment through effective communication and teamwork.
