Veterinary Technician or Assistant

We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician or Assistant to join our overnight team in our Emergency and Critical Care department. As a Veterinary Technician/Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our team of veterinarians and technicians, and contributing to the delivery of exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide exceptional patient care, including administering medications, performing laboratory tests, and assisting with medical procedures.
- Work collaboratively with our team of veterinarians and technicians to ensure seamless patient care and efficient hospital operations.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest medical advancements and best practices.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of patient care plans, working closely with our veterinarians and other healthcare team members.
- Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and transfers, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a veterinary hospital setting, with a preference for experience in Emergency and Critical Care.
- RVT or VTS certification preferred, but not required.
- Comprehensive understanding of anesthetic monitoring and proficiency in processing basic laboratory specimens.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
