Project Engineer

SPI is seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join our team. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing civil engineering projects, ensuring they meet regulatory standards, client specifications, and project objectives.
Key Responsibilities:- Participate in the study and report, preliminary design, final design, bidding, and construction phases of selected projects.
- Develop detailed designs, plans, and specifications for civil engineering projects, including site layout, grading, drainage, utilities, and roadways.
- Conduct feasibility studies, site investigations, and environmental assessments to inform design decisions.
- Utilize AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other design software to create accurate engineering drawings and models.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and client specifications throughout the design process.
- Conduct technical reviews and provide recommendations for design improvements and optimizations.
- Prepare cost estimates, quantity takeoffs, and construction schedules to support project planning and budgeting.
- Prepare change orders, review pay applications, and prepare construction close-out documents.
- Perform site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to design specifications.
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in civil engineering design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other design software.
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, codes, and regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
