Medical Director Lead in Primary Care

At Physician Empire, we are seeking an exceptional Medical Director to join our dynamic team in Atlanta, Georgia.
Salary: $200,000 - $250,000 per year
About the Role:
The Medical Director will be responsible for managing a high-volume patient caseload, ensuring the delivery of exceptional quality care to patients. This role requires strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide medical staff to achieve outstanding results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate patient scheduling, monitoring charts, and guiding medical staff to troubleshoot as necessary
- Present a friendly and helpful face to patients, providing day-to-day operations and decisions involving front office, nursing, and case management
- Interview, hire, and train employees; plan, assign, and direct work, appraise performance, reward, and discipline employees
- Address complaints, recommend improvements, and resolve problems to the Chief of Medicine
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, the Medical Director must possess:
- A Medical Board license MD/DO/RNP (State-specific) in Internal/Family Medicine/Adult-Gerontology/Infectious Disease
- Valid DEA & Furnishing license
- Comfortable with seeing up to 15-18 patients per day
- Prior experience or interest in treating and diagnosing HIV/AIDS clients in an outpatient Primary Care setting
- Ability to obtain AAHIVM Certification within 18 months of hire
- Current CPR/BLS (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation)
