Lead Medical Director for Primary Care

Job SummaryWe are seeking an exceptional District Medical Director to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia. As a full-time role, you will be responsible for leading our district's medical operations, fostering clinical excellence, and driving business performance. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in shaping the future of healthcare delivery.
Estimated Salary Range: $200,000 - $250,000 per yearThis salary range reflects the company's competitive compensation package and is based on factors such as location, industry standards, and the candidate's level of experience.
Responsibilities- Cultivate a strong, engaged, and empowered team of medical professionals
- Maintain and enhance clinical excellence through continuous monitoring and improvement initiatives
- Support the district's business performance in collaboration with operations leadership
- Lead office medical directors in delivering outstanding patient care, access, and service
- Design and manage key operational drivers that optimize practice workflow, resource allocation, and performance management
- Develop and execute strategic growth plans within the market
- Collaborate with other district medical directors, departments, and local partners to innovate and improve healthcare delivery
- Model exceptional provider traits, knowledge, and skills, with a focus on patient care and provider development
- Possess excellent clinical and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and lead others
- Have an interest in leveraging technology to deliver high-quality, evidence-based primary care
- Desire to be part of a rapidly growing team of clinicians dedicated to changing healthcare delivery
- Previous experience managing and leading a team of clinicians
- Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine
- Licensed in Georgia and Alabama
- Paid sabbatical after five years of service
