Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Care Specialist to join our team at MUSC Community Physicians. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, working closely with medical staff to prepare patients for examination and procedures. You will also be responsible for documenting patient information, vital signs, and medical history.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide patient-centered care, respecting individual needs and preferences.
  • Assist medical staff with preparation, examination, and procedure.
  • Document patient information, including vital signs and medical history.
  • Clean and stock examination rooms and supply areas.
  • Participate in recording and reporting responsibilities.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have a graduate degree from an accredited Practical Nurse program and be licensed as an LPN within the state of South Carolina or a compact state. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required.

Compensation and Benefits

This is a full-time position with an estimated hourly salary of $45-$55 per hour, depending on experience. Benefits include access to comprehensive health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
