About This Career Opportunity
One Way Wireless Construction, Inc. is a leading provider of telecommunications infrastructure services. As a Cell Tower Technician, you will play a critical role in the installation, testing, and maintenance of communication towers and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Climb and work on communication structures to install, replace, and repair equipment.
- Travel with a crew to job locations, including out-of-state and overnight assignments.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure successful project completion.
Requirements:
- Pass a drug test, pre-employment physical, and background check.
- Complete Authorized Climber/Rescuer, OSHA 10-Hour, and CPR/First Aid trainings.
- Hold a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Have knowledge and experience using hand tools.
- Construction background is preferred.
- Maintain regular attendance and reliability.
- Communicate professionally with team members and supervisors.
Travel and Physical Requirements:
- 90% travel required, typically in the Midwest.
- Overnight travel required, with a $150 per diem when traveling overnight.
- Ability to climb several hundred feet with over 50 pounds of gear.
- Work long days and frequently move, transport, and position objects of 50 pounds or more.
- Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, sit, and climb ladders and communication towers.
