Mental Health Specialist

National Counseling Group is seeking a skilled Mental Health Professional to join our team. As a premier provider of behavioral health services, we specialize in community-based counseling, crisis stabilization, mental health skill-building, school-based treatment, and outpatient counseling.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with licensing and Medicaid standards.
- Provide crisis intervention and case management services to assigned caseload.
- Develop and implement Individualized Service Plans in collaboration with clients and interdisciplinary teams.
- Conduct team meetings to ensure comprehensive input into Individual Service Plan development.
- Deliver trauma-informed, person-centered, psychosocial, and psycho-educational interventions to achieve treatment goals.
- Provide individual, family, and group counseling and therapy services in accordance with approved credentialing and skill set.
- Facilitate individual and family sessions to address identified goals and objectives.
- Document all treatment activities, including phone calls and interactions with affiliated case professionals.
- Engage in ongoing and consistent communication with school, criminal/juvenile justice, social services, MCO/Payor, and other mental health providers.
- Present formal case updates and presentations to professionals in various settings.
