Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage the movement of materials throughout the packaging process and other necessary areas.
  • Package, label, and prepare products for shipment while ensuring compliance with customer specifications.
  • Receive, verify, and document incoming materials and supplies from vendors.
  • Physically handle items weighing up to fifty (50) pounds as required.
  • Operate various equipment related to packaging operations, including box erectors, packaging machines, and label printers.
  • Input production data accurately into computer systems and rectify any discrepancies.
  • Utilize forklifts and other material handling equipment to transport materials safely.
  • Load stock into trailers or staging areas following inbound instructions and verify system data accuracy.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and performing minor repairs on production equipment.
  • Engage in general warehouse tasks, including maintaining cleanliness and organization.
  • Ensure all transactions, both electronic and manual, are completed with precision.
  • Conduct inbound operations for finished goods work orders.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to learning manufacturing principles and techniques.
  • Adhere to established safety and environmental standards in all work activities.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures in all tasks.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least one (1) year of experience in warehouse or packaging operations preferred.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Ability to read, write, and perform basic math calculations accurately.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Mechanical aptitude and capability to operate basic computer systems.
  • Willingness to learn new computer-based applications and equipment.
