CNC Machinist

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate multi-axis CNC Mills up to 5-axis to precision manufacture complex components.
• Inspect parts using hand tools to verify dimensions and ensure quality.
• Complete machining operations from blueprints, drawings, and/or verbal instructions to meet tight tolerances.
• Work with complex, high-precision parts and various materials to drive innovation.
• Meet productivity expectations and communicate with shop leadership to optimize production.
• Provide feedback for process improvements to drive continuous learning and growth.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• 3+ years of experience in set up, operation, and/or programming of CNC mill.
• Read and understand blueprints, GD&T, notes, and tolerances to ensure accuracy.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Understand basic G-Code and be comfortable making adjustments to feed/speed.
• Ability to use hand inspection tools to check machined features.
• Familiarity with multiple machine control systems, including OSP, Fanuc, and Siemens.
• Experience working with various materials, such as Inconel, stainless steel, copper, and titanium.
• Ability to read and work off of a blueprint.

Additional Requirements:

• Must be willing to work all shifts, overtime, and/or weekends as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. unassisted.
• Ability to stand for extended periods - 8 hours minimum.
• Ability to stoop, bend, crawl, and maneuver in tight spaces.
• Repetitive movement, bending, or twisting, using hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls, exposure to sounds and noise levels that are distracting.

Compensation and Benefits:

Pay range:
CNC Machinist /Level 1: $27.00/hour
CNC Machinist /Level 2: $32.50/hour
CNC Machinist /Level 3: $38.00/hour

Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience. You may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of company stock, stock options, or long-term cash awards, as well as potential discretionary bonuses and the ability to purchase additional stock at a discount through an Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
