Position Overview
CRH Group Corporate Events is seeking a highly skilled individual for the role of Senior Event Operations Manager based in the United States. This position is ideal for those with exceptional organizational skills and a keen eye for detail, capable of thriving in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will oversee all facets of event planning and execution, ensuring that every detail is meticulously managed from inception to completion. Responsibilities include:
- Venue Management: Research and negotiate contracts with venues and suppliers, conduct site visits, and establish a network of local contacts.
- Event Design and Production: Collaborate with third-party vendors to ensure seamless event execution, while maintaining comprehensive project documentation.
- Health & Safety Planning: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and responsibilities among all parties involved.
- Technology Integration: Determine IT requirements for hybrid and virtual events, coordinating with appropriate service providers.
- Food & Beverage Coordination: Develop and manage catering arrangements to meet event needs.
- Logistics Management: Create and oversee transportation and accommodation plans for attendees.
- Budget Oversight: Manage financial aspects of events, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints and deadlines.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in corporate event management, particularly in logistics.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and collaboration tools.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently.
- Flexibility to travel extensively and work outside of standard hours as needed.
