Job Summary

The Junior Accountant will support the Accounting Team with financial reporting and analysis, inventory management, budgeting and forecasting, month-end close, and other financial-related objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis:
    • Create and distribute comprehensive financial reports
    • Collaborate with the Accounting Team to analyze financial data and provide insights
  • Budgeting and Forecasting:
    • Assist the Accounting Team with annual budgets and forecasts
    • Support the Accounting Team with monthly forecasts and budgeting
    • Collaborate with various departments to meet budget goals and objectives
  • Inventory Management:
    • Assist with physical inventories and cycle counts
    • Reconcile differences between system reports and recommend corrective action
  • Month-End Close:
    • Prepare and post journal entries
    • Perform reconciliations and pre-close analysis
  • Other Duties:
    • Perform other financial-related tasks as assigned by the Accounting Team
Requirements
  • Education and Experience:
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
    • 1-3 years of relevant experience (internships included)
  • Skills and Abilities:
    • Strong proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality
